Coast to Coast Carports offers barns in many styles, but the most popular model by far is our A-frame barn. A-frame barns are made up of three sections. These sections include a taller middle section and a lean-to on each side. The standard height for an A-frame barn is 12′ on the inside legs (the center of the barn) and 7′ at the outside legs, which gives you ample space for a wide variety of uses. Whether you opt to keep the center portion of your barn open (which is the standard setup) or fully-enclose it with roll-up or walk-in doors, you’ll love the coverage, protection, and plentiful storage space these metal buildings offer.
An A-frame barn provides many advantages over other barn styles. Aesthetically, many of our customers prefer the look of the A-frame barns, as they tend to resemble a house or other buildings on the property more closely. The A-frame name refers to the shape of the barn, which has a peaked appearance just like a house. Functionally, A-frame barns offer more height and storage space, and steel A-frame barns tend to be stronger and last longer than other barns on the market.
Our A-frame barns feature galvanized steel tubing with steel panels, which means these metal barns are built to last. Unlike traditional wood barns, which tend to break down over time when exposed to the elements, steel A-frame barns last for years and come equipped with a 20-year rust through warranty, so you can be sure you’re purchasing a quality structure.
When you order an A-frame barn from Coast to Coast Carports, you’ll be able to choose from several different roof styles. We recommend a vertical roof because of the added stability and strength they offer. Vertical roofs also allow water and debris to run off the roof more easily while making maintenance easy and keeping wear-and-tear to a minimum.
Once you’ve taken the time to research the various barn options on the market and make your selection, we’ll deliver and install your barn. Delivery and installation are free. They’re included in the cost of your barn, and there are no hidden fees. All you have to do is make sure the site is properly and safely prepped, and we’ll take it from there! We can typically have your new metal barn delivered within two to six weeks. Once our team is on-site and ready to install your A-frame barn, the process takes around 8 hours or less, which means your barn will be up and ready by the end of the day.
